[Workshop] Rational obstruction & Noether program
June 14 - 19, 2027 Kyoto, JP Organizers: M. Florence (IMJ-PRG, FR), A. Hoshi (Niigata, JP), D. Izquierdo (IMJ-PRG, FR), H. Tsunogai (Sophia, JP)
This workshop aims at gathering internationally-recognized researchers working in arithmetic geometry, and more precisely on topics related to rational obstructions and Noether’s program (in particular rational and integral points, rationality questions, inverse Galois theory, arithmetic of algebraic groups and homogeneous spaces), and younger promising researchers (PhD students and postdocs). This event will provide a stimulating opportunity for the participants to share the lastest important developments in their areas, and to foster discussions and collaborations among them.
This workshop is a companion of the workshop ``Counting results in geometric Galois theory''.
